| Description: |
BXN #1593 was built in Nov. 1974 for the Bauxite & Northern Railway. It was on the property at Bauxite, AR up until about May of 2019 when the owner company, Genessee & Wyoming, trasferred it to the Arkansas Midland Railroad's Mcgehee branch. The switcher would be assigned to work as a remote control unit at the Clearwater paper mill north of Arkansas City, AR. It was apparently involved in some sort of a low clearance accident at the Clearwater paper mill. Shown here back at the yard at Mcgehee, AR. |
